Wida Saghary a prominent Afghan journalist, a brave advocate of Women’s Rights and Human Rights and well known media figure whom has put her life on the line for safety and empowerment of women and girls, LGBTQ community in Afghanistan, to the extent that Taliban before coming to power has declared her infidel and sentenced her to death. After several relocations inside Afghanistan provinces (Kabul Women’s Shelter, Mazar-e-Sharif province and Bamyan province) She has managed to go to exile.
