Cooperation and Solidarity Network of Women of Afghanistan and Iran (CSNWAI)

International Campaign for Women’s Solidarity between Afghanistan and Iran

1. The Cooperation and Solidarity Network of Women of Afghanistan and Iran (CSNWAI) is an independent (non-governmental) non-profit organization established to defend the human rights of women in Afghanistan and Iran. The first step and condition in defending the human rights of women in these societies is to get rid of Islamic rule in any form and under any name and title, and to get rid of the systematic sexual apartheid that Islamic reaction has ruled in these societies.

2- Therefore, trying to prevent these anti-woman and reactionary regimes from being recognized by the international authorities, as “legitimate” governments governing these societies, is a pillar of our activity. The rule of Islamic reaction, the Taliban, Khomeini, ISIS and all other types, are not the free and conscious choice of the people in any human society!

We believe the international institutions, governments and powers that recognize and support these governments as “legitimate” governments for whatever reason and under any pretext, are partners in consolidating sexual apartheid and aggression against women.

3- According to the system and laws of Islamic origin (whether Sharia or non-Sharia) and according to Islamic teachings, being a woman “in itself” is the source of deprivation of the most basic political, civil, family, social and economic rights, from birth to death.  In these Islamized environments, being a woman has practically become a “crime” and a “political crime”. Hence, we consider the “right of political asylum” for all women who have fled sexual apartheid systems and Islamic environments, simply because they are women, to be the unconditional and “unquestionable” right of women.

4. We recognize the citizens’ escape from war and oppression, poverty and insecurity, misogyny and sexual apartheid, the inalienable right of all people around the world, including in Afghanistan and Iran, and we call for “open borders” on all asylum seekers. In this regard, we urge the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to take immediate action to facilitate the transfer of any woman and any person wishing to leave the area to safe areas and countries.

5. The Cooperation and Solidarity Network of Women of Afghanistan and Iran (CSNWAI) is an international campaign, both in terms of its vision and scope of its activities. We do not recognize any geographical, political, national, ethnic, cultural, or religious constraints in defending the rights of women in the systems of sexual apartheid and Islamic reaction, and in achieving emancipation of women, liberty, and equality. We recognize the rights of women and the equality of men and women as universal rights.

The Cooperation and Solidarity Network of Women of Afghanistan and Iran (CSNWAI) strive to improve the situation of women in these societies, and prioritize the removal of barriers to end the suffering caused by anti-woman governments. The “network” seeks to expand the scope of its activities to as many countries and communities as possible.

6- “The Cooperation and Solidarity Network of Women of Afghanistan and Iran” (CSNWAI) is a public and popular campaign and non-governmental organization that invites all interested parties to cooperate. Anyone who feels responsible for the fate of women and girls under anti-woman rule and Islamic reaction can be members or activists of the “network”.

7- ” The Cooperation and Solidarity Network of Women of Afghanistan and Iran” (CSNWAI) , in the struggle for the realization of women’s rights in Afghanistan and Iran, will deploy all possible legal possibilities and ways, from acting as a pressure group on relevant governments and international institutions to convening rallies and Employs demonstrations and organizes direct actions of the people.

8. The Cooperation and Solidarity Network of Women of Afghanistan and Iran (CSNWAI) relies, above all, on the support and financial assistance of people who see themselves as partners in the network. Nevertheless, the “network” welcomes any unconditional assistance from governmental and non-governmental organizations seeking to support its activities.

9- “Cooperation and Solidarity Network of Women of Afghanistan and Iran (CSNWAI) ” is a non-profit organization. With the exception of a few full-time officials, as a general rule, all “network” activists volunteer.
